Outreach

pathetic that it has to be us.
- Jerry Garcia
The first step in solving the global challenges like climate
change is education. I actively work to improving public
science literary, with particular focus on the science of
climate change, through popular writings and public
seminars at high schools, universities, places of worship,
teachers' retreats and other community gatherings.
These public seminars efforts are generally aimed at
educating students, either by speaking to high school
students or working with high school teachers. The
students of today are the leaders of tomorrow. They
will have an unprecedented opportunity to shape the
future of our planet. As I've told hundreds of students (NY Times):
"Like it or not, our lives will be governed in many ways by the impacts of climate change and by the efforts to slow climate change. Whatever your profession, whatever your place in society, you will be a part of this. You and I didn't cause this problem. But it will be up to us — my generation and your generation — to solve the problem. What do you want to do?"
